Port of Golfo Aranci

Harbour Information, Terminals and Facilities
(Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, Italy)

The port of Golfo Aranci is situated in the heart of Sardinia's tourist route, acting as an ideal gateway to the Italian mainland for travellers and freights. Connections are made to Italy via daily ferries to the ports of Civitavecchia, Livorno and Fiumicino.

Facilities at this small port are limited to a departure lounge, café and a small convenience store.

Departing passengers should be present no less than 30 minutes before departure, or 1 hour for those travelling with a vehicle. Parking is available for both short and long stays at the port, with a limited number of spaces for disabled travellers.

The port is located in the vicinity of the small, picturesque coastal town of Golfo Aranci in the northeast of Sardinia. The area is a popular tourist destination in its own right, having a host of attractive beaches.

Ferry Services

Connections can be made to mainland Italy via daily ferries stopping at the ports of Civitavecchia, Livorno and Fiumicino.

The express boat to Livorno takes around 6 hours and has departures three times a day on weekends and fewer during the week, depending on season. Civitavecchia also has three weekend travel times - both destinations being served by Corsica-Sardinia Ferries. Onboard services include restaurants and a range of boutiques.

Tirrenia Ferries operate between Golfo Aranci and Fiumicino, departing daily at 14:30 and arriving at 18:30 (summer season). These vessels can carry 3,000 passengers and can accommodate around 1,000 cars. All ferries have a restaurant and bar, a cinema, playroom and shopping facilities. All sea bound services from Golfo Aranci provide facilities for the disabled, though staff should be told about special needs at the time of reservation.
